SOUTH-END-SEA

SOUTH-END-SEA – SMILES ON SEA

I have been to many beach resort, happy to say Southends, is one of the best I have ever met.

I enjoy walking against the breezy wind at the seafront, and to watch the longest pier found in Southends.

Southends, is located on the North bank of the Thames Estuary – is the largest resort in Essex and Londoners' favorite seaside resort.

This seaside town is also located at the warmest and driest part of the country.

It is about an hour by MRT train from central London.

SOUTH-END-SEA TOWNSHIP
It has a famous pier, the longest in the world, with a railway service along to the pier head over a mile out to sea. The pier measuring at 1.33 miles (2.14 km), was commenced in 1829. At the pier head, experience the stunning views and invigorating fresh air, before heading back to land where the Pier Museum uncovers the attraction's unique history.

At Bell Wharf in Leigh-on-Sea, visitor will experience entirely different beach experience – sample a taste of Southend-in-Sea with fresh seafood from the famous Cockle Sheds before wandering through historic Old Leigh's cobbled streets.

Apart from beaches, visitor is encouraged to try-out the United Kingdom's No. 1 free admission fun park, at Adventure Island. There is 34 rides for young and old, and 50 attractions.

A world of fishy wonder awaits visitor at the Sea-Life Adventure – come close to tropical sharks, stingrays. Lionfish, morays and more in over 40 unique displays and talks.

The Kursal has been an iconic attraction in Southend's history since the building was completed in 1901. Beneath the Kursal's Dome, one can find the 30-lane bowling alley, sports bar, pool tables and amusements, and casino.
