MEDAN
I was assigned to cover
4D3N trip to Medan organised by Ipoh City Council.
The trip was entitled
“Mayor Ipoh's trip to Medan” aimed to foster relationship with
Medan as the town was selected as the “Sister City” (Medan Sister
City Cooperation) with Ipoh City.
DAY 1
Departure of the Mayor of
Ipoh and his entourage including two journalists, one from NST and
another from China Press to Medan, Indonesia. Upon arrival in Medan,
the Mayor officially launched the 6th Medan Mega Fair, held at Supian
Jaya PRSU Medan, here.
DAY 2
The Mayor and his
entourage had paid a visit to the Walikota Medan Drs H. Harahap and
Drs H. Dzulmi Eldin, and the Malaysia General Consulate based in
Medan.
At night, the Walikota
Medan organised a 'Welcome Dinner' for us, at his residence.
DAY 3
Discussion between Mayor
of Ipoh Datuk Roshidi Hashim with the Medan officials regarding the
topic on “Medical Tourism” - between Medan and Ipoh.
Journalists were also
provided an opportunity to tour Medan town, market place and massage
SPA.
DAY 4
Farewell to Medan.
