PADDINGTON

PADDINGTON

I have been to Paddington for sightseeing in December 2011.

Nothing much, except the famous Paddington Station and its 'Bear' symbol of Paddington.

Paddington is an area within the City of Westminster, in Central London. First a medieval parish then a metropolitan borough, it was integrated with Westminster and Greater London in 1965. Three important landmarks of the district are Paddington Station (1847), St Mary's Hospital and Paddington Green Police Station.

Offshoot districts are Maida Vale, Westbourne, Bayswater and Lancaster Gate.
