RICHMOND DEER
PARK
If you are
visiting Richmond – do see the Richmond Deer Park.
I visited the
park in February 4, 2012, with my family members. It is about 30
minute drive from Staines.
ONE FOR THE ALBUM |
The
conservation park is filled with all aged deer – one is encouraged
to take photographs with the mild species of deer, here.
It is also an
educational place for children, students and even adults.
Richmond Park is the largest park with 2,500 acres of hills, woodlands, gardens and grassland with stunning views as far as St Paul's Cathedral.
Here, is home to large herds of red and fallow deer, the gated park was designated as National Nature Reserve in 2000.
The adventurous can enjoy a host of activities including horse riding, cycling and power kiting. It also houses the magnificent Isabella Plantation and the gardens at Pembroke Lodge.
