ALEXANDRA PALACE

ALEXANDRA PALACE

I was at the Alexandra Palace on August 12, 2007.

This palace is very popular among those living in Surrey County.

It is a great place for photography session, as the palace is on the top of a hill.

Alexandra Palace is a Grade II listed entertainment and sports venue in London located between Muswell Hill and Wood Green.

Originally built by John Johnson and Alfred Meeson, the palace is built on the site of Tottenham Wood, near Richmond.

It is opened in 1873 but following a fire two weeks after its opening, was rebuilt by Johnson.

Intended as “The People's Palace” are referred to as “Ally Pally” - its purpose was to serve as a public centre of recreation, education and entertainment.
