IPOH: A newly open Authentique Restaurant will be offering IFTAR themed “Cicip Rasa Tiga Benua”, from April 16 until May 12, here.
The restaurant is located at Ipoh Garden Square, No. 39, Jalan Sultan Azlan Shah, Ipoh Garden South, 31400 Ipoh.

The restaurant will have a display of 160 dishes for its ramadan buffet line from appetizer, soup, main dishes and desserts.
The appetizers showcase popular Malay dishes like Gado Gado, Bubur Lambuk, Kriok Kriok Cucur Udang (Pantai Remis), Popiah Basah Abang Jago, petai, ladies’ finger and brinjal.

As for the main dishes there are traditional Malay cuisine namely Rendang Tok, Rendang Kerang Merah, Ayam Panggang Pedas, Itik Goreng Ala Peking, Mee Sup Mak Lenggang, Homemade Pasta, lemang and ketupat among others.
The ‘must try’ dish is the Trio Kawah comprises of Sup Tulang Ginseng, Gulai Tempoyak Ikan Patin and Kacang Pol Tulang Kambing.
Its signature dish is Talam Puncak Jabal Rahmah made up of Nasi Maqlubah Ayam, Ikan Talapia Goreng, Salata Hara, Shatta, Sos Briyani, Cili Hijau, Fattoush, Lemon and Kurma
All dishes will be prepared and cooked by the Shen Jai Education Group students from the food production, pastry production and food & beverages services and operation faculty.
It’s chief executive officer Justin Yeoh said that the purpose of establishing a restaurant by an education hub here, aimed to promote Malaysian cuisine be it Malay, Chinese or Indian dishes to our customers.
“The restaurant also serves as a training platform for Kompas International College and Shen Jai College students whereby they would get a hands-on from customers while polishing skills in the food industry and sharing a passion with food lover,” he said.
The buffet is priced at RM41.90 nett (adult)/RM28 (senior citizen/children).
Early birds who made reservation before April 10, will get a 10% discount.
