GOING FOR A FULL MCO 3.0 IN PERAK?

MY SAY

IPOH MAY 20, 2021: 6075 cases @ May 19, 2021 – this is an unpredictable figure. A jump of more than 1,000+ cases from the day before.

Is the current half- baked MCO3.0 which starts from May 10, still relevant or not?

This is a debatable issue for many people from all walks of life ranging from commoner like me, businessman, professionals and politicians.

A group of people will definitely go for a full lock down saying that it is a waste of one-week and not seeing any improvement in the figures, and the figure is ranging from 3,000 and 4,000 before it hits 6,000. This group are mostly made up of normal citizen who craved for a full MCO, so that the recovery will be more efficient. But again, is there a surety of a full MCO will cause a drastic drop in figures?

Another group who are the business community will support the current MCO3.0 situation, where they can still run their business as per normal without having to hit hard on their financial status.

The last group is obviously the politician who may go either way – full or partial MCO3.0, because they need to listen to the people from both sides. The Menteri Besar of Perak Datuk Saarani Mohamad had made an announcement (May 19) to refute rumours stating that Perak will be going for a full MCO 3.0 on Friday (May 21). How true it is God knows.

Common sense – if the cases hit up to 8,000, don’t you need to go for a full MCO, or will it be too late by then?

On the other hand, Ipoh General Hospital had also admitted there were fake news going about regarding the hospital was overcrowded was not true on May 13.  Anyway, it is a matter of time this scenario is going to happen in all hospitals. Am I right?

Guys, what do you think should we go for a full MCO 3 as soon as practicable or wait and see??
