IPOH: Kuala Kangsar District Officer Ahmad Munir Ishak was appointed as the Ipoh City Council Secretary with effect from April 15, here.
He will be the 13th secretary, replacing Zuraina Kamarul Ariff.
Ahmad, 46, holds an Economic Syariah Degree (UM)
and MBA (UKM) has vast experience in economic, financial and administrative fields.
He started his career as assistant secretary for Ministry of Finance Economic & International in 2001 followed with Ministry of Home Affairs (Financial Department), and assistant director (Public Services Department).
He began serving in Perak from 2015 onwards as assistant chief district officer (Land) at District Officer & Tanah Hilir Perak District, Secretary Human Resources Management (SUK) Perak and Kuala Kangsar District Officer.
