IPOH: Chinese New Year is just round the corner!

Even though, the Pre-CNY shopping falls during the Movement Control Order (MCO) period, people still come out and source for decorative and prayer items.

A stop over at Chop Fook Onn Paper Merchant, saw a few customers already start buying decorative, prayer and ritual items, used during CNY.

According to Chop Fook Onn’s proprietor Aaron Chen, the latest arrivals are – the Sand Style Rotatable Lantern, Authentic Classic Lantern, Lucky Cat, Well Wishers Glass Banner and Lion Dance Brick Set.

“There is another set of paper decorative themed ‘Prosper Every Generation’ used for praying to the God of Prosperity and Heavenly God, during CNY.

“We anticipate customers will still come for the ritual items and decorative at their last minute shopping spree,” he said.
