RELAUNCHING OF #TRAVELPERAKLAH VOUCHERS

 

IPOH: Tourism Perak relaunched the vouchers for #TravelPerakLah, which is now make available holidaymakers during Phase 1-3 and Phase 4, in the state.

State Tourism committee chairman Datuk Nolee Ashilin Mohammed Radzi via a video meeting said that the vouchers for #TravelPerakLah (Phase 1-3) were launched on July 1, last year could still be used until June 2022, for purchasing tourism product, hotel accommodation and domestic tour packages around the State.

 


 

“For Phase 1 – 3, there is about 125 industry players comprising of hotels, tourism products entrepreneurs and tourist agencies that are registered with the government to provide services to tourists, here.

“This initiative will ease the burden of tourists arranging for their holiday by purchasing the voucher for tour package / accommodation.

“However, the voucher for #TravelPerakLah (Phase 4) is launched as a preparation to kick-start full operation of domestic tourism in the state.

“Phase 4 will focus on 74 spa operators registered under Perak Spa Entrepreneur Association (SISPA) and 35 tourist agencies under Umrah Association and Haji and Ziarah (PUHAZ). The voucher can only be used from October 2021 until June 2022.

“Total tourism vouchers offered are 10,000 pieces, and the objective is to promote tourism in Perak apart from following strict SOP measures,” she said.

INFO ON WHEELS MERDEKA

 

IPOH: The Kinta District Information Office and The Bojen Car Wash & Spa jointly organised the “Info On Wheels Merdeka” programme which saw the participation of Harley Davidson and Jaguh bikes, decorated with flags for the National Day.

 


 

The programme was carried out following strict standard operating procedures followed with patriotic songs playing and visitors here were entitled for a free car wash.

 


 

The organisors also gave away Jalur Gemilang flag and printed materials to the visitors.

The event was launched by Kinta District Information officer Nurul Azirah Mohd Yunus and The Bojen Car Wash & SPA management director Mohd Salorwadi Mohd Nor.

PERAK INFORMATION DEPARTMENT PRE-NATIONAL DAY CELEBRATION WITH THE PRESS

 

IPOH: The Perak Information Department celebrated a Pre-National Day event with members of the press held at Sultan Nazrin Muizzuddin Shah Complex, here.

The event started off with singing the Negara Ku and Jalur Gemilang songs.

Guest-of-honour was Perak State Information Department director Mohd Taip Ubah who was presence to place the Merdeka magnet sticker onto the cars of the media members.

Mohd Taip said the National Day Programme with the Media Members was aimed to foster relationships between members from the print media and online media.

 

                       
 

“It is the policy of the government to have a close link with the media organisations as they have assisted us in disseminating news to the public.

“Prior to the Covid-19 pandemic, we have been organizing events incorporating media members such as the most recent one called ‘Kembara Media’ which we invite press members to historic locations.

“Currently, we have not been organizing such events involving the press members due to Covid-19, however, if we do, we make sure standard operating procedure must be adhered with such as social distancing, sanitize, wearing double masks and limited numbers of invitees,” he said.

Meanwhile. Perak National Security Council director Khairul Ridzuan Mat Said said that Merdeka Day Convoys must first get approval from National Security Council, as well as adhere strictly on SOP, at all times.
