IPOH: Some 200 guests attended Kinta River Front Hotel & Suite's “Ramadhan Hosting Night”, held at  its Palong Coffee House, here.

The invitees included hotels' parent company staff, media members and clients from the government and corporate sectors.

Highlight, was the presence of the underprivileged groups from the Pusat Jagaan Anak-Anak Yatim & Miskin Nurul Iman and Pusat Harian Kanak-Kanak Spastik Bandar Ipoh.

Guests were entertained with songs performance by the hotel's staff and a special guest artist who delivered Kenny Roger's number.

IPOH: Some 126 children were feted to a sumptuous buffet organised by Tower Regency Hotel in conjunction with “Majlis Iftar” a breaking fast event, here.

The underprivileged children were from Rumah Anak Yatim Budi Mulia Nurul Huda Chemor, Pertubuhan Kebajikan Anak Yatim Bait Al Amin Parit and Pertubuhan Anak Yatim Dahikmah Gopeng.

Hotel manager Mariana Hamid said that this was the eighth time the hotel has carried out its corporate social responsibility during ramadhan.

Also present were State Police Chief Datuk Hasnan Hassan, Deputy State Police Chief Datuk Omar Mammah, District Police Chief Mohd Ali Tamby, Perak Tourist Association president Datuk Odzman Kader and Tower Regency Hotel director Simon Leong.

ZUI XIN LAO SEAFOOD RESTAURANT PARENT'S DAY SETS

IPOH: Zui Xin Lao Seafood Restaurant is promoting its Parent's Day Special sets, to celebrate this festival with grace, love and happiness, here.

The pork-free restaurant is held at Kinta Riverfront Hotel, Jalan Lim Bo Seng.

There will be two sessions available for lunch and dinner, from May 1 – 13, followed with June 9 – 17.

CHICKEN CURRY WITH BREAD

Its Chinese Cuisine Consultant Koay Kian Leng will prepared three sets of special dishes meant for parents, where each dish symbolises good tidings.

Guests will be spoilt for choices where there is a selection of either RM688 nett per set, RM888 nett per set or RM988 nett per set.

 

BAKED PRAWNS WITH CHEESE

Signature dishes include Five Luck Combination, Abalone Hot & Cold Combination, Chicken Curry with bread, Baked Prawn with cheese, Deep Fried Grouper Fish Combination, Braised Chicken with Cordyceps flower soup, Stir fried fresh scallop with mixed vegetable and Braised Egg Noodles with shredded mushroom, vegetable and chicken.
