IPOH: A newly set up skewers outlet named Chao Eateries is introducing a range of BBQ skewers for the delight of its customer, here.

The owner cum chef Brian Wong is optimistic that locals will get to know the various type of skewers by visiting his outlet.


BBQ SKEWERS


Highlight are – Cumin Chicken Skewer, Grilled Spicy Pork Skewer, Spicy Roasted Chicken or Chicken Heart Skewer, Spicy BBQ Pork Skewer, Honey Chicken Skewer, Roasted Pork Kebab, Grilled Fish, Sotong Skewer, Cockles Skewer, Crab Stick, Grilled Eggplant and Garlic Sauce Roasted Mushroom.

Wong said that he created his own variety of flavour namely herbal, honey sauce, BBQ black pepper sauce and cumin.

In order to meet the request of customer, I may add in new flavour from time to time.

There is a total of 20 types of skewers priced between RM2 to RM10 per skewer,” he said.

LWOT'S DAY OF THE DEAD

IPOH: For the first time, Lost World of Tambun (LWOT) is hosting the “Day Of The Dead” event, from October 1 until 31, here.

Guests can now capture their Instagram-able Halloween experience as they journeyed through beauty, art and death held at the theme park's Forest Of the Dead.


ONE FOR THE ALBUM


Here, one can view colourful lighting surroundings coupled with images of the deadly, grave yards and all things Halloween.


GRAVEYARD


There are a number of fun filled activities namely luminous face painting, DIY Voodoo dolls, Tarot Card fortune telling, Meet the Dead Photo Session and selfie with Ghostly characters.

Others include – A Night to Remember, The Beauty of Death Parade, DJ El Loco Party, Mariachi Band, The Touch of the Dead and Soul of the Fire.


COFFIN


Highlight, is the Party Of The Dead event to be held on October 31. On that night, guests who dress up in a Halloween costume will be given a 50% discount off the Night Park ticket (published rate).

Each package will include an entrance to Party Of The Dead, a Blood Bag Drink or a Devil Horn Headband.


LUMINOUS FACE PAINTING


LWOT general manager Nurul Nuzairi said that this year's theme focused on the concept of artistic beauty and death as found in the traditional Mexican Day of The Dead (Dia de Muertos) art.
