TORQUAY

TORQUAY – QUEEN OF THE ENGLISH RIVERIA

I am impressed by Torquay's marina and riveria - the first time I set foot on this town in 2010.
Torquay is located in south west England, boasts of its Queen of the English Riveria and colourful merry-go-round like township.

As I went on day trip – I get to see the numerous yatch parked on the marina, land train round the town, Torre Abbey Gardens and shopping at Fleet Street.

Recommended to stay overnight – to see the bright up of the illumination lighting on the town and enjoy its colorful nightlife.

TORQUAY - FLEET STREET

It is advisable to take the land train route ride to see – Lucious Street – Fleet Street – The Strand, Inner Harbor for Living Coasts – Grand Hotel – Torre Abbey Gardens and Belgrave Road.

Torquay is one of Britain's most famous resorts, situated at the heart of 22 miles of unspoilt coastline – known as “English Riviera”. It has a mild climate, sparking blue waters and in its beautiful public gardens – you will see subtropical plants and palm trees.

Torquay has something to offer everyone – by day you can relax on one of the clean sandy beaches, explore the bustling harbour and marina and the shops.

You can go for walk or indulge in activities such as sailing, golfing or fishing. By night, you will be spoilt for choice – theatres, night clubs, cabarets and discotheques and illumination lighting at the promenade reflected across the bay. The many local attractions include Paignton Zoo, Babbacombe Model Village, Kent's Cavern, Torbay Steam Railway and Cockington thatched village.
