IPOH: The Minister of Youth and Sports Datuk Seri Ahmad Faizal Azumu had a meet session with MYVAC volunteers and staff at the Stadium Indera Mulia Vaccine Delivery Centre (PPV), here.

Faizal said that 21,000 people had registered with MYVAC to work as volunteer in the country, and the respond towards the services provided by the non-health group was encouraging as it fasten the process of registration, taking temperature, administration and security task, as well as reduce the burden of medical staff.

“In Perak, there are 979 MYVAC volunteers servicing at 25 PPV, whereby Stadium Indera Mulia’s PPV has the highest number of volunteers in the state utilising 45 volunteers per day.
“Currently, there is an oversupply of volunteers, and some will act as ‘standby’ volunteers for us.
“The objective of MYVAC is to assist the country in achieving ‘herd immunity’,” he said.
