IPOH: The Ipoh City Council (MBI) launched its Anti-Corruption Organisation Plan (OACP) MBI 2021 – 2025 and Corruption Free Pledge (IBR) via a zoom meeting & FB Live, today (Sept 2).
Datuk Bandar Datuk Rumaizi Baharin @ MD Daud said that the integrity culture comprised of ethical issues which every individual and organization should practiced for the success of an organization.
“MBI's employees are encouraged to possess qualities such as honest, good manners, accountability, no conflict of interest at work and abiding to rules and regulations of the organization.
“There are three series of OACP Development workshop divided into strategy (6), strategy objectives (13) and initiative to combat issues found in the fields (117).
“The commitment from 40 members of the Anti-Corruption Organisation Plan & Development committee MBI 2021 – 2025, and the support gained from department heads, will ensure the planning on the processes of services to be carried out in a systematic, dynamic and efficient way coupled with integrity.
Meanwhile, Malaysia Anti-Corruption Commission (Perak) director Datuk Mohd. Fauzi Mohamad praised MBI for the successful implementation of OACP, which was important for checking on issues of governance corruption and integrity and to take initiative to prevent corruption in the long run.
“The Corruption Free Pledge signed by the individual is to remind them of their commitment to carry out their work with integrity, honest and accountability, and an interest to work in a conducive working environment free from corruption,” he said.
