IPOH: Out of the normal 59 state assemblyman (ADUNs), three were absent from today’s first state assembly meeting, here.
Slim state assemblyman Mohd Zaidi Aziz claimed that he was a Covid-19 positive patient, and currently undergoing quarantine until August 31, at home.
Follow suit, was Kepayang state assemblyman Dr Ko Chung Seng, who was also quarantine due to a close contact with a Covid-19 person.
Even though, Dr Ko was tested negative for the virus, but he chooses to quarantine himself until August 27.
Muhammad Arafat, a state assemblyman of Hulu Kinta was also absent for the meeting, as he has not fulfilled the 14 days criteria after getting full vaccination.
The State Assembly Speaker Datuk Mohammad Zahir Abdul Khalid had announced to the media during a press conference on August 25, that there would be three state assemblymen who were not able to attend the meeting as advised by the state-level National Security Council (MKN) and Ministry of Health (MOH).
