APPRECIATION CEREMONY FOR THE FRONT LINERS

 

IPOH: The Ray of Hope (ROH), Perak Association for Intellectually Disabled (PAFID) and Cornerstone Sanctuary jointly organised an “Appreciation and Thanksgiving” to the front liners involved in the Covid-19 vaccination programme.

The handling over ceremony was held at Kinta Health Department, here.

Guest of honour was Perak Health director Datuk Ding Lay Ming.

 


 

Ray of Hope and Perak Association for Intellectually Disabled adviser Datuk Dr. Yeoh Beng San said that the purpose of the event aimed to appreciate the vaccination front liners from the three centres namely the Outreach Team, Stadium Indera Mulia and Batu Gajah

“We are giving away to each staff a special package containing a special 3 tier tiffin carrier, a reusable face masks, a hand sanitizer and two packets of fruit cookies. The total of recipients is 190.

“As we still have some funds left, we are giving to every health care worker in the emergency department and the ICU in Hospital Raja Permaisuri Bainun, Ipoh a can of fruit cookies each. The total of recipients is 550.

 

 

 “However, if there are still funds available, we may extend the project to include police stations in Ipoh area,” said Yeoh who is also Cornerstone Sanctuary chairman.

The event ended with a grateful thanks to the donors – AZHomefix PLT, Hovid Pharmacy, Rentokil Initial and donors from ROH, PAFID and Cornerstone Sanctuary.
