IPOH, MAY 20, 2021: Enhanced Movement Control Orders (EMCO) will be implemented in four subdistricts in Perak from May 22 until June 4.
The areas placed under EMCO include - Pengkalan Hulu (Hulu Perak District), Taiping (Larut/Matang/Selama District), Ipoh/Lahat/Chemor/Tanjung Rambutan (Hulu Kinta District) and Hulu Bernam Timur (Mualim District).
With the EMCO in order, stricter rules and regulations applies – Stay Home. Movement is restricted. One member of a family is allowed to go out and packed food or essential items from shops permitted to open by the police (PDRM).
As for emergency cases related to seeing a doctor, residents are allowed to go out with a permit granted by police.
Isolated areas where there is no access to food and necessities, the residents will receive their food stuff and necessities by Pusat Kawalan Operasi Bencana (PKOB), APM or Rela.
