IPOH: Ipoh City Council (MBI) and National Information Department had recently launched the “Citizen Information Centre (PMR”) held at Urban Transformation Centre (UTC), here.
The public can now register as recipient for the COVID-19 vaccination at UTC.
Datuk Bandar Datuk Rumaizi @ Md Daud said the objective of the PMR aimed to increase awareness on the services granted by the government to the public.
“PMR will act as a medium of transmitting information to the people regarding the Emergency Proclamation and National Immunisation Programme.
Perak Information Department director Mohd Taip Ubah said the department had set up 13 PMR at various district to assist and guide the people who wants to register for the COVID-19 vaccine.
“We hope to cover as many people as possible and those who may not be digital savvy or those who live in villages especially the Orang Asli people.
“So far, there are 50 people from all races who have registered as recipient under the vaccination of COVID-19 programme in the state,” he said.
