CLOSING CEREMONY OF COPYRIGHT & MUSIC VIDEO PRODUCTION WORKSHOP

 

IPOH: The COPYRIGHT & MUSIC VIDEO PRODUCTION workshop had attracted participants who have an interest to pursue a career in video and YouTube production held at Ipoh Town Hall, here

The two-day event was organized jointly by Ipoh City Council (MBI) and Luncai Emas Sdn Bhd with the support of National Film Development Corporation Malaysia (FINAS) and Konsortium Industri Rakaman Muzik Malaysia (IRAMA).

 


 

Guest of honour was Dato’ Dr. M. Nasir who gave away certificates to the participants.

M. Nasir also delivered two songs to the crowd during the closing ceremony of the event.

Luncai Emas Sdn Bhd excutive producer Sham Amir Hussain acts as a moderator for the workshop, alongside panelists Dato’ Jurey Latiff (Film Director), Jennifah Johari (Copyright Director) and Keon Omar (Luncai Emas Production Director).

 


 

FINAS director Zakaria Abdul Hamid said the music industry stays strong admist the Covid-19 pandemic and there is a continuous drive to improve the quality of music among artistes.

“FINAS has allocated RM30,000 for organizing the workshops, where they assist the creative industries which have been laid back due to the pandemic last year.

“The workshop aims to share knowledge enabling normal musician to turn professional, find new talents in music video, copyright law and to provide job opportunity to artistes,” he said. 




Meanwhile, Ipoh City councillor Nor Afzanizam Salleh said the participants were able to produce a video music clip during the two-day workshop, after having learnt how to produce quality YouTube.

“The workshop expose participants to technical aspect of producing quality YouTube and to help them make a living out of creativity.

“Although Ipoh City Council is not involved in the music industry yet it also assists in bringing in knowledge via workshop to those interest parties, to enable them in getting an income out of being a YouTuber.
