IPOH: The Sunway College Ipoh (SCI)’s ACCA Department had donated RM900 to Lian Hua She Vegetarian restaurant, here.
The proceeds were earlier collected via a charity sale from its “One Man One Effort” event, last month.

ACCA Head of Department Liza Wong said that the cash donation was for paying forward some 300 suspended meals costing RM3 per meal, to the poor living in Pasir Pinji.
“The underprivileged people will queue up daily from Monday to Friday at 10.30am to collect their meal.
“They used to eat in the restaurant, but since Conditional Movement Control Order (CMCO) and Recovery Movement Control Order (RMCO) period, they do only with take away,” she said.
PEOPLE QUEUE UP FOR THE MEALS
Meanwhile, the restaurant representative Wong Yoon Mooi said the respond was good, and they normally finish distributing after 45 minutes, whereby the people will bring along their containers.
