STRINGERS RECEIVE FOOD PACKAGES

 

IPOH:  Some 30 journalists received food packages and rice during the Covid-19 pandemic period, here.

The food stuff was donated by Ipoh City Council (MBI), Boba Teh Sdn Bhd and the Perak Media Sports & Welfare Club. 

 


 


Perak Media Sports & Welfare Club president Rosli Mansor thanked the organisors for donating food essentials to our media members from nine media companies stationed in Ipoh.

“The food stuff will help to reduce the burden of the stringers whose income depends on daily contribution of articles to their company.

 


 

“The stringers are from The New Straits Times Press, Bernama, Astro Awani, AL Hijrah, Peraktastic, RTM, Oriental Daily, Emily2U and Travelcolour,” he said.

Berita Harian reporter Balqis Zahari said that the food packages are timely, as it helped to reduce burden of buying the necessities.

 



 

Bernama’s Nurul Ezzaty Mohd Azhari said she was happy to receive the food packages, as she was from outstation and these food stuff may last her a few months.
