IPOH: For the first time, the Ipoh City Council (MBI) and the Police Di Raja Malaysia (PDRM) held a joint effort in contributing food packages to the police personnel, here.
Datuk Bandar Datuk Rumaizi Baharin gave away 480 food packages to Ipoh District Assistant Commissioner ACP Yahaya Hassan.
Rumaizi said the donation was part of MBI Caring programme aimed to show our appreciation to the police.
“The police who are also frontliner work tirelessly during Covid-19 pandemic period,” he said.
Meanwhile, Yahaya thank the council for the food packages which in return boast moral support and reduce the burden of police personnel.
Also present were Econsave Operation Manager Northern 2 Chua Yong Chiang and Jelapang Econsave manager Shah Effendy Rosman.
