IPOH: Datuk Bandar Datuk Rumaizi Baharin @ Md Daud surveyed the urban agriculture projects to view the method used for hydroponic technology plantation located at the MBI building compound, here.
The urban agriculture project was initiated on July 12, here.
The vegetables selected for the project are mainly lettuce species such as crispy leaf, lolla bioda, oakleaf, butterhead, batavia and salad bowl.
The objective of the project aimed to promote greens in the city centre and fresh vegetables supply within the vicinity of MBI.
Also present was City Planners director Mohd Zainal Abdul Hamid.
