IPOH: Datuk Bandar Datuk Rumaizi Baharin @ Md Daud gave away 150 packs of essential items on behalf of Ipoh City Council (MBI) and Bonanza Venture Holdings under the “MBI Caring” programme to six councillors and five representatives of MBI citizen, held at MBI headquarters, here.
Also present was council secretary Ahmad Munir Ishak.
The essentials items include rice, cooking oil, flour, sardine, sugar, tooth brush among others.
Rumaizi said he hopes that the donation would assist in lightening the burden of the underprivileged people and Ipoh folks during the Covid-19 pandemic period.
Meanwhile, Bonanza Venture Holdings also gave away 100 food packages and 100 toiletry packs to residents living in Kinta Heights, Waller Court and Buntong Harmoni.
