MBI’S CNY RUBBISH CLEARING

 

IPOH: The Ipoh City Council (MBI) has kicked off its ‘CNY Rubbish Clearing Services’ programme on Sunday.

The council had cleared some 60-ton of rubbish collected from Bercham Village, Taman Desa Pengkalan, Tawas Village & Tawas Permai, First Garden, Taman Jati, Taman Taufik and Simpang Pulai.

It follows with a larger volume of rubbish (65-ton) collected today (Monday) from Malaysia Garden, Taman Cempaka, Ampang Timur, Taman Desa Indah, Taman Desa Pakatan, Medan Pengkalan Ria, Simpang Pulai, Soong Choon Garden, Jelapang New Village, Taman Indah,Taman Suria, Taman Tasek, Taman Eshan, Bukit Merah New Village, Gunung Rapat, Taman Saikat, Taman Datuk Leow Yan Sip, Happy Garden, Taman Shatin and Taman Mei Kin.

The rubbish includes bulk trash, green waste and illegal dumping.

 

TAMAN DESA PENGKALAN

 

IN conjunction with CNY 2021, the council will go on with the rubbish collection around Ipoh City, until February 13.

The collection of green waste and bulk trash will be carried out in April, for the whole of Ipoh City.

The council has earlier on purchased 14 lorries run by 14 drivers and 56 workers to collect rubbish at housing areas in the city. Each lorry is able to carry eight tones of rubbish.
