IPOH: Members of the Tourism Perak organized a surprise birthday dinner to Perak State Tourism committee chairman Datuk Nolee Ashilin Mohd Radzi, held at Manjoi’s Laman Cuisine.
The small-scale gathering was attended by tourism staff and media personnel.
Norlee said the tourism industry Perak would face challenging times after the current implementation of the Movement Control Order in other states, followed with no interstate travel.
“Number of tourists in Ipoh will definitely go down and tourists can only travel within Perak state itself,” she said.

“While in Phase 2, there are 871 participants covering 30 types of similar skill courses, from October 2020 until February 2021,” said Nolee.
Nolee revealed that there will be an additional new heritage trail titled “Cantonese Culture Heritage Trail” which include places such as Sun Yat Sen building, life-skill products (goldsmith) and cultural event (lion dance and martial arts).
“The trail is the first one in Ipoh will most likely to be launched after Conditional Movement Control Order (CMCO) ends,” she said.
