IPOH: Media members and BIOFRI team members attended the BIOFRI Christmas Charity Drive held at Persatuan Kebajikan Rumah Orang Kurang Upaya, here.
The event also witnessed BIOFRI donated RM17,860 worth of products to four charitable homes in Ipoh.
The products distributed included Korean water filter, fogging machine for sanitizing & mosquito, sitting potty, four-legged cane, wheelchair, adult pampers, mineral water and goody bags.

The beneficiary homes were – Persatuan Kebajikan Rumah Orang Kurang Upaya, Lovely Villa Home Care, Pusat Jagaan Seri Cahaya and Victory Care Centre.
Guest-of-honour was Pasir Pinji state assemblyman YB Howard Lee who donated RM1000 to the home.
Howard Lee called upon companies to contribute towards performing their corporate social responsibilities, by doing charity work as they are still many underprivileged people in our community.

BIOFRI founder Frida Khong said this was the first time for its management to carry out corporate social responsibility, to assist four charitable homes in Ipoh who required the necessary items.
