IPOH WINS THIRD PLACING FOR CLEAN TOILET
IPOH: SK Meru Raya and SMK Raja Perempuan emerged as third place winners for the Cleanest Toilet (National Level) 2020.

The
competition was held in conjunction with World Toilet Day which falls on November
19, annually.
It was organised by Ministry of Town Welfare, Housing and Local Government (KPKT).

Datuk Bandar Datuk Rumaizi Baharin @ Md Daud said the city council (MBI) had selected eight best public toilet (five star) in the city for entries into the competition which comes with six categories vying for the “Cleanest Toilet Award” (ABT1M).

“The winning of both schools serves as an encouragement for MBI to make sure the toilet in the city adhere to cleanliness, comfortable and safe for Ipoh folks and tourists to use, here.

“It is a responsibility for everyone to use the toilet in a clean manner, and toilet training should start at a young age,” he said.
