BAMBOO ART STRUCTURES IN IPOH

IPOH: The Ipoh City Council (MBI) has created a bamboo art structures, located at Old Town (Clock Tower) area, here.

The bamboo art structures serve as a beautification of the city and carries with it an environmental-friendly concept.

 

THREE BAMBOO ART STRUCTURES

 

Datuk Bandar Datuk Rumaizi Baharin @ Md Daud said the arch structures were the work of the experts of the Landscape Department and Development Control Division of the Town Planning Department.

“The building work, started off in March 2020 and was halted temporary due to the Movement Control Order (MCO).

“The construction involves treating the bamboo before it is used for building art structures.

“However, MBI plans to construct more bamboo art structures, which is in line with transforming Ipoh into a Low Carbon City by 2030, “ he said.
