LET’S JOM TO MOVIE ANIMATION PARK STUDIOS (MAPS)

As a first timer to MAPS, I am greeted by my favourite Home character BoBoiBoy, at the MAPS animation square.

Visitors are welcome to strike a pose with their  favourite movie characters  The Smurfs, The Adventure, BoBoiBoy and friends and have their moments captured!

Also in the Animation Square Zone are the MAPS Emporium, Monkey Business Toy and Candy Shop where one can bring home an animation souvenir from MAPS.

4-D ADVENTURE THEATRE

Next, is the Live Action Zone is an area where one can catch South East Asia’s first thrilling car and bike ‘Live’ stunt show at the Stunt Legends performance.

Hold tight onto your seats in the 2,000 custom-built arena and hear the engines roar as the show showcases stunt performers in adrenaline-pumping acts.

STUNT SHOW AT LIVE ACTION ZONE

 

One interesting place I really like is the Fantasy Forest Zone - a place dedicated to children to explore the Cave of Wonders, where they can embark on a mystical journey of ancient civilizations or marvel at the Upside Down Pyramid by discovering and solving mystery of gravity-defying masterpiece.

Other attractions includes the Colizeum Water Playground, Fantasy carousel, Whirling Wizard, Red Baron and the Forest’s HQ Treehouse.

Another outstanding place of fun is the Lakeside Zone where one can step into the world of animation - be prepared to get excited over rides namely The Adventurers Hyper Spin, Smog N Clog Asteriod, The Space X-plorer, Crystal Quest roller coaster and others.

In addition, visitors can also have their lunch at the 60 food outlets available at the theme park.

OVERVIEW

MAPS is poised to be “Asia’s First Animation Theme Park” equipped with 40 attractions spread across six thematic zones, with 23 interacive attractions and 15 fun rides.

 

The six thematic zones are - Dream Zone featuring Mr Peabody & Sherman, Megamind, The Croods and Casper The Friendly Ghost attractions; The Smurfs ‘Live’ Animation Attraction; Stunt Legends; BoBoiBoy Animation Attraction; Megamind Megadrop and retail and food outlets

The 52 acres of theme park is located at Persiaran Meru Raya 3, Bandar Meru Raya 3, 30020, Ipoh.
