KINTA NATURE PARK



Kinta Nature Park welcomes avid bird watcher!!

The park which is located about 2-km from Batu Gajah covers over 900 ha, and with over 130 bird species resident in the park.

KNP is the place where herons nest. It is one of the country’s largest heronry where visitor can find six species of herons including the Black Crowned Night Heron and the Purple Heron. Other rare finds are - Buffy Fish Owl, Coppersmith Barbet and Pheasant-tailed Jacana.
