IPOH: Liew Yin Yin Group Berhad organised a “Handing Over Key Ceremony” to celerate the completion of 168 unit of houses located at Desa Chemor Megah.

Guest-of-honour was Housing, Local Government and Tourism committee chairman Datuk Nolee Ashilin Mohammed Radzi.
Liew Yin Yin Group Bhd chairman Datuk Seri Dr. Don Liew said that the 168 houses (Phase 1), made up of 152 unit (single storey) and 16 units (double storey) were now ready for buyers to move in.
“The housing project is the company’s private initiative to build affordable houses for income group of B40 and M40.
“These group of people required a house urgently, and the Phase 1 range of houses are priced below RM250,000 each.
“Currently, we are constructing 146 unit of single storey houses (Phase 2) which is an ongoing project whereby we have achieved 70% to 80% booking rate. The houses in Phase 2 is priced below RM300,000 each.
“We are also preparing for Phase 3, whereby there will be 124 unit of single storey houses to be built at this stage.
“We are targeting a total 438 unit of houses for the residents of Chemor,” he said.
Meanwhile, Nolee said that the state government via Perak Property and Housing Board (LPHP) has given out 290 offer letters for Rumah Perakku and 54 applicants have successfully received keys in category 1.
“According to the Advertising Permit and Housing Developer Licenses (APDL) application data, the Housing & Local Government Ministry gathered data from 2018 to 2021, where a total of 10,840 unit of houses affordable ones are built in the State. Out of the total unit of house, some 3,918 units are from Kinta District while 2,310 units are from Manjung, and 1,381 units from Batang Padang.
“The state government will continue to support the initiative of private house developer to build affordable houses for the benefit of the B40/M40 group, in Kinta District,” she said.
Later, there was a lucky draw session for new house owners.
