IPOH: Some
100 riders participated in the Merdeka Vespa Ride 2020 to demonstrate their
love for their country in conjunction with National Day.
The event
themed “Malaysia Prihatin” (Malaysia is concerned) was hosted by Sunway Lost
World of Tambun (SLWOT).

The convoy,
with the Jalur Gemilang attached to their bikes, participated in the ride from
Penang and Putrajaya in conjunction with the launching of new model Vespa Sei
Giorni II Edition to SLWOT, and continue the riding to Ipoh town right after
their pit stop.

was State Youth, Sports, Communications & Multimedia Committee chairman
YB Khairul Shahril Mohamed who flagged off the ride as they journeyed from LWOT –
Jalan Tambun – Old Town.

Shahril said the Merdeka Ride aimed at injecting the spirit of patriotism and
love for the country among Malaysians, especially younger generation.
