IPOH:
Guest were feted to a sumptuous buffet dinner in conjunction with
Hari Raya celebration organised by Pantai Hospital Ipoh (PHI), held
at the Weil Hotel here.
Among
those who were presence – medical personnel, association
members, staff and media members.
Pantai
Hospital Ipoh chief executive officer Chong Siet Fong said the
hospital through its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR)
programmed entitled “CSR Life Renewed Fund” had assisted patients
who are not able financially, to seek treatment at our hospital.

“Since
2013, more than 270 patients from the lower income category were
provided with free medical treatment at PHI amounting to RM6.6
million.
“In
2018, the hospital has allocated RM450,000 to assist 25 patients who
were not able to pay for their medical treatment, here.
“We
(PHI) hopes to continue to provide free services in terms of medical
services to those who are of the lower income category community,”
she said.

Hasnul Zulkarnain Abd Muniam
Hasnul
said PHI has since maintained its status as a premium hospital in Ipoh,
which utilises modern technology from administration, medical
services and services provided to the patients.
“Social
media is one of the channel which help to disseminate information on
the services of the hospital and create awareness among the community
on issues affecting health,” he said.
Later,
there was a presentation of hamper to Hasnul Zulkarnain.
