MORECAMBE

Hi! MR MORECAMBE

Morecambe is a coastal town on Morecambe Bay in Lancashire, England.

Eric Morecambe gives his name to Morecambe Bay, one of Britain's larges tidal areas. Excellent haven for wildlife, particularly birds.

Highlight is to take photograph with the statue of Eric Morecambe, one of Britain's best-loved entertainers of the 20th Century, which was enacted by Graham Ibbeson.

WRITER POSING WITH ERIC MORECAMBE

Obviously, I will not leave Morecambe without clicking at least a photograph with Mr Morecambe statue, here.

Visitors here, will enjoy a breezy walk along its 3.4 km long Promenade – just to enjoy the sea breeze, fabulous view across the bay to the Lake District fells, and some abandoned boat.

Across the beach, one can have a look at the splendid many hotels, art gallery, restaurants and shopping paradise.

UNUSUAL SIGHTINGS OF ABANDONED BOAT

A one-day trip is sufficient to tour the whole of Morecambe – with the main attraction being its Art Deco masterpiece and Eric's statue.
