A
FOOTBALL CITY CALLED MANCHESTER
I
was introduced to Manchester City by my cousins and had been there
four times in a row of ten years. Preston to Manchester takes only 30
minutes car ride.
MANCHESTER |
I
used to follow my cousin to Manchester for breakfast because they
served the best Dim Sum, found in China Town.
Also,
shopping is plentiful in this football city namely Trafford Centre,
Market Place Shopping center – to source for up and coming local
designers clothing, wares and souvenir.
HERE I AM - CHINA TOWN |
The
largest shopping mall in Manchester is none other than Trafford
Centre – which offer anything from gift items, souvenir, home and
garden items, children, health care products and food outlets among
others.
I
am also amazed with the city transportation whereby tram is a common
sight by-passing the city center. Another attraction, are the
majestic red colour buildings surrounding the city areas.
CITY TRAM IS A COMMON SIGHT IN MANCHESTER CITY |
Manchester
City is well-known for battling for the world cup football
competition. Its team entered the football leagues in 1899, and won
their first major honour with the FA Cup in 1904.
It
is also known as the “world's first industrialized city”, and its
role in the industrial revolution is legendary.
Highlight
places to visit are - Manchester United Football match at Old
Trafford Stadium and Etihad Stadium tour, China Town, Walking City
Tour, Cottonopolis Tour, Wine Tour and shopping.
IMPERSONATE YOURSELF AS A SINGER AT SHOPPING CENTER |
Normally,
I do not stay long in Manchester to discover the highlighted places
because I followed my cousin's car just to drop by for a day visit.
