– JUNE 19: Ipoh City Council (MBI) was the first council in the
state to organise a “Lucky Draw Session for Assessment 2020” via
Live FB, here.
The
lucky draw session was drawn by Datuk Bandar Datuk Rumaizi Baharin @
Md Daud and three MBI officers, comprises of 300 slips (consolation
prizes) and 30 slips (main prizes).

The
lucky draw event has been running for a few years, and the council
has allocated RM103,000 to purchase attractive prizes namely a Proton
Saga 1.3MT, motorcycle, electrical and home decorative items for
their winners.
Rumaizi
said that the lucky draw aimed to thank our clients for been
responsible to pay their assessment in time.

“For this year, there is an increase of 14.5% that is 18,472 bill out of 148.174 bill paid to the council, compared to 129,702 bill paid last year.
“The
total of increased for this year is 23.7%, equivalent to RM39.45
million collected compared to RM31.9million, last year,” he said.
