The
eight were the additional councillor prior to an earlier 17 members
who were sworn in, on May 4.

Four
of the councillor were from Barisan Nasional (BN), three others from
Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia (PPBM) and one from PAS.

They
were divided into Group 1 comprised of - Puteri Holijah Muhamad Rali
(leader), A. Ganesan, Mohammad Iskandar Abdul Rahman and Norul Huda
Ahmad Nalor. Group 2 – Dato' Haji Azizul Kama Abd Aziz (leader),
Chan Soon Yip, S. Jaya Ganesh and Azmi Murad Mohamad Yusof.

the 25 city councillor will serve from May 1, 2020 until April 30,
2021.
