IPOH:
Freak storm plays havoc with trees! The stormy weather is here to
stay.
For
the safety of the public, Ipoh City Council (MBI) will be trimming
trees and getting rid of fallen branches and tree trunk caused by the
storm on May 20.
MBI
in a written statement, stated that the safety of the people in Ipoh
City is their main focus for tree trimming task.

The
freak storm had caused trees to fall across the road and with the
assistance of the MBI's Landscape Department, the management were
committed to remove the fallen tree to avoid congestion to road
users.
Among
the places affected by fallen trees are – Stadium Area, Jalan Raja
Musa Aziz, Jalan Hospital, Greentown, Jalan Pasar, Kampung Simee and
Jalan Sybil Kathigasu.
As
such, for these two days, MBI will be removing the fallen trees by
stages to avoid any further congestion of traffic on the specific
roads.
