IPOH:
Watercolourist Loo Win showcased 82 pieces of art, during his 9th
Solo Watercolour Art Exhibition held at AEON Big Falim, here.

His
paintings in the exhibition featured mostly the landscapes of Perak.
His
work are not confined to a direct copying from the actual location
but coupled with an expression of vivid personal feeling and style.
Over
the years, Loo Win had developed a style of his own although his
early painting technique was influenced by traditional ones.
At
the event, he also presented guests with a Volume 2 catalog of his
published art.
Loo
Win said the exhibition aimed to promote the painting activities
locally as well as national tourism attraction.
Guest-of-honour
was State Tourism Committee chairmanTan Kar Hing who was presence to
launch the event.
