IMPIANA “CITARASA KAMPUNG” RAMADAN BUFFET

The popular Ramadan Buffet is back again!

Impiana Hotel Ipoh (IHI) will be offering its Ramadan buffet themed “Citarasa Kampung”, from May 17- June 14, here.

The buffet line will showcase 250 dishes comprises of appertiser, main dishes and dessert.

There will also be a 'live-action' stall titled the Bakar Station where guest can find grilled mutton, seafood, kambing and ayam golek berampah among others.

For a start, try out the range of appetiser like ulam ulam, salad, porridge (bubur lambuk) and prawn fritters (cucur udang).

Meanwhile, the main ramadan buffet will then feature a variety of mouthwatering dishes including nasi briyani, kambing masala, Warisan Rendang Tok Man, sambal petai udang, fish head curry, ikan patin masak tempoyak, crab curry, gulai daging batang pinang, curry chicken, assam pedas gulai kawah and sup tulang rawan.

Not to be missed is an extensive selection of cakes and Malay traditional delicacies namely dodol panas, tapai pulut asli, ondeh ondeh, kueh lapis, and kueh cempedak.

The buffet ramadan is priced at RM78 nett (adult) and RM55 net (child), will be served from 6.30pm until 10pm, held at its coffee house.

In addition, the Impiana Ballroom will also be open as an additional venue for the breaking of fast.

The stalls-concept bazaar style 'Citarasa Kampung' will highlight a variety of 'buka puasa' specialities such as Sup Tulang Rawan, Bubur Lambuk, 7 Gulai Kawah Asli Perak, Cucur Beraneka and Murtabak Pak Wan.

RENDANG

 The ballroom itself can accommodate 350 persons, will be available from now to June 14. Priced at RM65 (adult) and RM45 nett (child)

The limit 9+1 offer is up for grabs, where one is entitled to one complimentary voucher with a purchase of nine vouchers. Offer valid till May 15.

Hotel's general manager Gerard Sta Maria said the ramadan specialities for this year is that the dishes offered in the range are focused on kampung Malay food, to boast the Malaysian authentic cuisines.

IMPIANA HOTEL IPOH CNY FOOD PROMOTION


IPOH: Impiana Hotel Ipoh (IHI) is having a "Chinese New Year Food Promotion",  held at its coffee house from February 1 until 17, here.

Guests can have a choice either to go for a CNY Eve Dinner on Feb 1 – 15, or Prosperity Buffet Dinner (Feb 16 and 17), or Gong Xi Fa Cai Buffet Hi Tea (Feb 16).

For the CNY Eve Dinner, there are two selections priced at RM888 (8-course set dinner) or RM1,088 (9-course set dinner) for a table of ten persons.

A WIDE RANGE OF CNY DELIGHTS

The course set dinner will showcase dishes like – Salmon Fish Yu Sheng, Braised crab Meat Broth, Double Boiled Chicken with Chinese Herbal, Deep Fried Prawns with Salted Egg, Steamed Garoupa Dragon, Braised Mushroom with Bean Curd Root, Fried Rice and Iced Longan with Fruit Cocktail.

Meanwhile, for the Prosperity Buffet Dinner and the Buffet Hi Tea, the coffee house is offering 80 types of dishes to its guests. 

There will be a starter, soup, main dishes and desserts.

Highlight dishes for the buffet line are – Salmon Fish Yu Sheng, Roasted Duck, Fried Chicken Wings, Braised Beef Chinese Style, Ginger Chilli Clam, Telur Sambal, Nai Pak Choy with Abalone Sauce, Butter Vegetable with Almond Flakes and Oven Roasted Rainbow with Potatoes Herbs, among others.

For desserts, there are jelly, kueh mueh, cakes, bubur cha cha, ice cream and salad.

AN ARRAY OF BUFFET DISHES FIT FOR CNY

The Prosperity Buffet Dinner is priced at RM88 nett (adult), RM68 nett (senior citizen) and RM48 nett (children).

However, the Buffet Hi Tea is priced at RM48 nett (adult), RM38 nett (senior citizen) and RM28 nett (children).

In addition, guests are invited to attend CNY activities such as Lion and Dragon Dance Performance and the God of Prosperity Walkabout, at the hotel's lobby on February 16
at 9 am.

SYEUN HOTEL CNY REUNION DINNER PROMOTION

IPOH: Syeun Hotel is promoting its Chinese New Year Reunion Dinner held at its ballroom, on February 15.

There will be four packages priced at RM788 (vegetarian), RM888, RM1,188 and RM1488, for a table of 10 persons. A family photo will be included for every table with free two photographs.

Guests will be entertained songs coupled with the appearance of God of Fortune giving away red packets.
 
A photo booth is also set up for guests who wish to take photographs during these joyful moments. 
 
The main dishes offered for the packages include Braised Shark's Fin Soup, Steamed DragonTiger Garoupa Fish, Salad Mixed Fruits & Ming Prawn Ball, Fried Yellow Mee, Braised Vegetables Golden Mushroom, Stuffed Bean Curd Skin Ball, Brocolli with brown sauce and Hot Sweetened Xin Soo, Snow Fungus, Gingko Nut and Sea Coconut plus chinese pastry among others.

Its signature dishes are – Prosperity Salmon “Yee Sang”, Steamed Red Rice Emperor Woo Soo Chicken and Precious Ingredients Chinese Casserole (Poon Choy).

IPOH: For the first time Symphony Suite Hotel organised a Xmas Party for the underprivileged children on Christmas Day, here.

The 40 children, aged five to 17 years old, were from Vision Home and Pusat Rekreasi Bercham.

To start off the party, the Salvation Army Home’s staff performed a carolling session for the guests.

The children were then entertained with all kinds of party games on stage, followed with songs.

Highlight, was the appearance of Santa Claus to enlighten the festive mood, giving out sweets to the children.

 In addition, the children were feted to a sumptuous hi-tea provided by the hotel, at the lobby area.

The management of the hotel also presented gifts to the children.

 Symphony Suites Hotel managing director Lee Chee Ming said the event was part of the hotel’s corporate social responsibility, to give back to the community.

“It also provide us an opportunity to feast with the orphanages, and to get together with them,” he said.

IPOH: The management of Kinta River Front Hotel (KRF) and the Kiwanis Club of Meru Valley (KCMV) jointly organised a Xmas party themed “Care, Give, Love” catered for the less fortunate children in Ipoh.

The children aged 3 to 17, were from Good Shepherd Family Home, Praise Boys Home, Praise Girls Home and Praise Emmanuel Home.

The staff of the hotel and KCMV members also played party games with the children, and each of them were presented a DIY photograph frame.

Highlight of the event was the appearance of Santa Claus, and posing for a group photograph.

Later, the children were feted to a sumptuous lunch by the hotel.

KRF assistant Marcom manager Amelia Teng said this was the third time the hotel  co-organised a festive event for the children together with KCMV, and this was part of the management’s corporate social responsibility to give back to the community.

Meanwhile, KCMV president Christopher Lau said the club had presented uniform, lunch box, stationary and foodstuffs to the children.

“Our club has been organising meaningful programme to serve the children in the world for the last seven years, especially underprivileged children of our community.

“We are planning to organise another CNY Kiwanis Get-Together with children from selected homes, for the coming Chinese New Year.

“Apart from festive events, we will continue to do the Kiwanis One Day service project which involves visiting sick children at the Ipoh General Hospital, here.

“In addition, our club will joint venture with other Kiwanis clubs to carry on a grand children's project specifically on family picnic day, in June,” he said.

Some 100 underprivileged children attended a “Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony” organised by Impiana Hotel Ipoh.


The children aged from 3 to 20, hailed from Vision Home, Praise Grils Home, The Salvation Army Boys’ Home and Pertubuhan Pengurusan Pusat Jagaan 1 Malaysia Perak.


Guests staying at the Hotel and media members were also invited to the colourful Christmas fun filled event to make the evening a more happy occasion for the children.


The event started off with Santa Claus and Satarina making a grand entrance surrounded by the children. Both Santa were seen giving away presents to children while sharing joy with them.


Highlight of event was the lighting up of the hotel’s 12-feet tree followed with a group photograph.


Impiana Hotel Group director of marketing & communications Shirley Hoo said that the management hosted the xmas party to reach out to the society and the bring joy to the less fortunate.


“The management have committed to reaching out in a spirit of volunteerism through the charitable and non-government organisation, especially on festive occasions,” she said.


Later, the children were seen playing party games and they were treated to a sumptuous buffet feast prepared by the hotel’s culinary team.
