IPOH Learning & Training Institute (ILTI) upgrades to new bigger hub Ipoh

IPOH:  Learning & Training Institute (ILTI) marks a brand new milestone in its 35- year long history by relocating to a bigger, all-purpose hub.

The new hub, located at Jalan Woodward, Ipoh, means ILTI will be able to support more students safely and expand its popular portfolio of English classes.

Famed for covering all levels of Cambridge English Assessment, the centre allows students to receive globally recognised qualifications while studying in Ipoh.

With its bigger classrooms and updated facilities, ILTI offers HSK Mandarin and core subjects across primary and secondary education, including Mathematics, Science, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.

The hub is part of Bonanza Educare’s Ipoh learning zone, which also encompasses a buzzing preschool and kindergarten, Kinder Labz, and splashing swim school, Aqua Labz.

Bonanza Educare’s Director of Education Evelyn Chen said that the relocation exercise was carefully planned and carried out with ILTI’s students in mind.

“This is a significant occasion for ILTI, as we continue to expand our portfolio to offer the best courses for Ipoh students and continue to be the leading language centre in Ipoh.

“Besides creating spacious classrooms, we have installed smartboards to facilitate learning. This is in keeping with our believe that ILTI must progressively grow with the times in its teaching methods for its students to grow in their English learning journey,” said Chen.

Chen added that apart from creating a more modern learning environment, new facilities such as a café and a secret garden have been incorporated to give students an avenue to relax and unwind from their hectic study lives.

“Between classes, they can soak in the sunshine and breathe in some fresh air in the garden while reading a book from our library. Or they could get to know their ILTI classmates better and strike up some lasting international friendships,” she said.

An Ipoh icon, Ipoh Learning & Training Institute was established in 1986, to provide English courses for all ages, levels and needs.

The centre boasts that more than 40,000 students have passed the Cambridge English exams at ILTI. It has more than 40 highly qualified and very experienced teachers, who range from retired heads of school, heads of English departments, SPM paper markers to native speakers, too.

There are group and individual classes for both children and adults, seven days a week. ILTI Classes at the ILTI premises have commenced on 1 November 2021 with enrolment for the next term currently in progress.

As an opening offer, potential students can get a free English assessment test until 30 November. The results determine students’ speaking, reading and listening levels and determines the best course to benefit them.
