PANTAI HOSPITAL IPOH'S TIMELY DONATION


IPOH: Pantai Hospital Ipoh had donated 250 boxes of food items to the underprivileged and marginalized who were affected due to the Movement Control Order (MCO), here.

Each food box contained rice, cooking oil, tea, mee and sardin, which costs RM50 per box.

The recipients hailed from Jelapang, Chemor, Buntong, Sri Rapat, Tambun and Merdeka Garden among others.

These underprivileged people have earlier registered with Malaysia Welfare Department (Jabatan Kebajikan Malaysia) for assistance and support.

PHI chief executive officer Chong Siet Fong said that the donation was being carried out by the hospital despite our front liners were also battling Covid-19 .

PHI remembers people whose livelihoods have been affected by MCO and who have lost their source of income.
